My first post, I suppose this is about as good as any.
A front yard astrophotography, search for Saturn. It’s a short time-lapse from late 2018 capturing an evening imaging Saturn and the Moon.
Visually observing Saturn vs imaging it, are different experiences. Visual observation provides an immediate confirmation of its impressive existence. Imaging is gratifyingly on a couple levels, the technical effort of image acquisition and then later when stacking and processing the image data for the final reveal.
Hope you enjoy this short video.
Small mention, I’m still learning the art and science, and hopefully improving my craft of astrophotography. At the time this was a noticeable moment of progress for me.
